Residency on Great Spruce Head Island

I recently returned from Great Spruce Head Island where I attended Art Week run by Anina Porter Fuller.  I experienced living and working on Fairfield Porter's island along with 15 other inspiring painters, printmakers and poets from Maine and thoughout the US. An amazing experience!  Here are a few works from my stay.

I spent last week on North Haven Island painting near the Thoroughfare at the Lewis farm property.  Thank you to the Lewis' for your generosity!  The majority of my week was spent working on these two larger pieces, each is roughly 5x 4 feet.

Cupsuptic Lake

I spent last week working on Cupsuptic Lake in Adamstown, Maine, located near Rangeley. My work with fabric pattern and color continues to be a focus in my studio and is beginning to translate into my outdoor painting.
